There are a number of categories for individual membership to NYSATA. Active Art Educator Members may indicate the level from elementary to college/university at which they teach. Administrators, supervisors, and museum educators may check the category that best describes their role.
Associate Membership is designed to include School Administrators (who are not art educators or art supervisors), classroom teachers, College or Commercial Representatives to NYSATA, or others who may wish to join and support our agenda, including parents.
Discounted membership fees are offered to full-time students (those who are full or part time teachers and are attending graduate programs are not entitled to discounted student membership), and retired or unemployed art educators.
UFT Members (Region 8--NYCATA/UFT) are entitled to reduced membership if they choose to join NYSATA because their regional dues are covered by UFT membership.
You must indicate the NYSATA Region you would like to be enrolled in. This can be the county in which you live, or the county in which you work. If you would like to enroll in more than one county, there is a Multi-Regional Membership that carries a surcharge for each additional regional membership.
