Upcycling old hardbound books into contemporary sculptures is a relaxing method of repurposing books destined for the recycling bin. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to choose the right books for your project, page manipulation and folding techniques plus ways to design one of a kind sculptural piece. The very act of folding pages is a meditative process

(Paper Fold Therapy) is calming and the perfect way to discover the creativity within you.

Participants will learn how to create symmetrical and asymmetrical designs, books that can hang and those that serve as stand-alone sculptural pieces and ways to display their finished pieces.

You need 2 or three discarded books at least 1" in thickness.
