Region 3 Summer Raku Workshop (TWO DAYS)

Day 1- BUILD Monday, August 9th, 9 am-4 pm
15-20 Pounds of clay will be supplied
Pieces will be bisque fired after, in preparation for Raku Day
We will work inside and outside if the weather permits

Day 2- GLAZE & FIRE Thursday, August 19th, 9am-4pm
Participants will glaze pieces for raku and assist in firing
Wear old and protective clothing
No Sandals please, Hair tied back
Fee covers glaze, kiln fuel, instructions, time

Directions:
5581 State Route 80, Tully, NY
Tully, Exit 14 on Route 81, 5 houses past Burger King
Please fill 3 cars in front of the garage and pull alongside driveway to allow space for all.

Supplies:
Basic materials will be provided:
One wheel, a few slump molds, texture plates, stamps, boards/sponges/tools
*Bring any extra texture tools, stamps, leaves that you would like
*Bring a foldable table if you have one
*Bring a lunch and snacks or we can order food from Sweet Basil/Bloomin’ Cup in town.
