Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 11am-2pm

Theme: Prototyping and Play In this workshop organized by NYSATA and the Wellin Museum of Art, we will reinvigorate our sense of play while exploring ways to address teaching complexity with students of all ages. Together, we will spend time interacting with the exhibition Sarah Oppenheimer: Sensitive Machine. With Oppenheimer's work as our inspiration, we will create our own kinetic sculptures, celebrating the surprise and delight that can result from the unexpected. Please note: ***The Wellin Museum of Art welcomes members of the public who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All visitors must wear masks. In accordance with Hamilton College’s policy, unvaccinated visitors, including children, are not permitted at this time. Thank you for your consideration.

This workshop is FREE to all Region 3 members.  A light snack and hands on project/lesson for all that attend.
