2021 Members' Art Exhibit

The 2021 Members Exhibit will be held both in person at the Doubletree Hotel, Binghamton and online through the ClickBid app. We invite all NYSATA members* to participate in this special Members' Exhibit online auction event. All proceeds will benefit the NYSATA Student Scholarships fund.

Create a piece (up to 3 pieces can be submitted) of 2- or 3-dimensional work that is 10”x10” (3-dimensional work must be less than 5 lbs. and must be 10”x10”x10” or less). Register and submit a high-quality digital photograph of your work by November 17, 2021. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation with instructions for delivering or mailing your original work. Registration is FREE for art pieces that are donated to the Student Scholarship benefit auction. Donated work is tax deductible (sale price will be e-mailed to you at the conclusion of the event).

Onsite Exhibit
Members attending the conference may hand-deliver all pre-registered work (both DONATED and NON-DONATED) to the exhibit area on November 19, 2021. NON-DONATED works are eligible for the in-person exhibit ONLY if you are attending in-person and can hand-deliver the work. 

If you are DONATING work ($0 entry fee), but NOT attending the conference, you will need to either mail the work to the exhibit coordinator prior to the event or have a colleague hand-deliver the work to the Members' Exhibit area at the conference hotel on November 19, 2021. 

Virtual Exhibit
All submitted work will be displayed in our online gallery and will qualify for the jury process for awards—cash prizes will be awarded! Donated works will be auctioned for a minimum bid of $25 and a reasonably priced “buy it now” option. Each art piece will be shipped to the winning bidder at the conclusion of the auction.

Want to participate but not donate your work? There is a $25 participation fee to enter work exhibited as not-for-sale. NON-DONATED work is still eligible for awards. If you are not donating, simply check the appropriate box on the form and submit payment with the digital image only—DO NOT MAIL NON-DONATED WORK. These works will be designated as SOLD or NFS at the beginning of the online auction.

With a few weeks of lead time, we hope you will consider creating art work for this special exhibit. This is a great opportunity for regions to offer a local workshop or event to connect with your fellow NYSATA community, create art, and nurture the artist/educator within.
