The NYSATA conference is the largest professional development opportunity for art educators in New York State. For 2020, we have pivoted to a virtual event! You can expect the same quality of workshops, networking, and Commercial and College showcase opportunities from our virtual event that you have come to expect from our on-location conferences. We offer a range of options for you to choose from, all accessible through the powerful virtual event and social engagement capabilities in our WHOVA conference mobile and desktop app.
Registration includes a SWAG BOX (first 500 before November 1) and a complimentary AFTERPASS, enabling registrants to access recorded workshops and all posted workshop materials up to six months after the conclusion of the event.

Workshops |
Workshop opportunities include hands on, lecture, and round-table discussion format in addition to engaging keynote sessions and time to connect with colleagues. Attendance verification and CTLE credit are available for up to 14 CTLE hours.
Over 40 workshops are offered with no advance selection necessary; a small selection are ticketed FREE (register for a supply packet) or for a small fee (extended hands-on). A few include supplies that will be shipped to you. Please read workshop descriptions and materials requirements/recommendations carefully prior to registering for Ticketed Workshops. Preregistered and ticketed events are not refundable.

Members' Exhibit |
Please consider participating in this virtual Members’ Exhibit opportunity. Work submitted must be 10”x10” in size and may be designated as “not for sale” or donated for auction to benefit the NYSATA Scholarship Fund. |
Student Exhibit |
Thanks to the magic of Google Slides, we will hold a virtual exhibit this year on the NYSATA website and in the Whova app. There is no fee to participate, but you MUST pre-register to have your student work entered into the exhibit. This exhibit is open only to NYSATA members who register for the conference. Registration is by teacher, not school district. Please do not add work of non-member colleagues to your exhibit. Details coming soon in your email. |
Artisan's Market |
Artisan vendors will have their website link and a description of their products posted in the Whova conference app and on the NYSATA website. Each artisan will be responsible for their own sales, shipping and any applicable sales tax. A registration fee of $20 per artisan will support our NYSATA Scholarship efforts. Artisans will need to register by November 1, 2020 on the NYSATA website. Watch for details in your email by October 1 or as soon as registration opens. All registered artisans must be NYSATA Members AND register for the conference to participate in this event. |
Exhibitors Showcase |
Our exhibitors have really stepped up this year with pre-recorded and live workshop sessions, product demonstrations, conference swag, and door prizes. There will be plenty of time to find out about new ideas, products, and ways of working with your students, both in person and remotely. ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION and CTLE CREDIT |
NYSATA is an approved CTLE sponsor. Attendees will be provided with a tracking sheet to document their CTLE hours. CTLE certification can be obtained after the conference by inputting the CTLE tracking information in our CTLE Certification Form
USE THE CTLE PROCESS to VERIFY YOUR ATTENDANCE to YOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT even if credit is not needed. Please check with your district for any prior approval necessary.
