Raymond C. Henry Project Grant

The Raymond C. Henry Project Grant is given in honor of the lifelong contributions of Raymond C. Henry. A grant of $750.00 is awarded to an individual NYSATA member to aid in the development and completion of a specialized art education project.

NYSATA Conference Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Grant
 

The NYSATA Conference Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Grant is given to reduce barriers and increase access for individuals from historically underserved and underrepresented communities. A grant that supports ED&I-focused educators and preservice students, with a priority focus on financial assistance for first-time attendees of the NYSATA Conference. The grant itself covers conference registration, full meal package, and standard room 3 night stay (pre-conference and paid workshops not included).

Thomas J. Knab Leadership Grant 
 

The Thomas J. Knab Leadership Grant is given in honor of the leadership contributions given by Thomas J. Knab, a NYSATA Past President (2013-15) and a Past President (2019-2021) of the National Art Education Association (NAEA). A grant of $500.00 is awarded to an individual to support and inspire emerging leadership within the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) by providing financial assistance to attend the National Art Education Association (NAEA) Convention. This grant is specifically designed for first-time NYSATA teachers to attend the NAEA Convention who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth, leadership, and service in the field of art education.
